Jason Ackley is responsible for creating Ackley Communications' portfolio of advanced technologies that will enable new generations of secure network communications. Jason is a 10-year veteran of the communications & Internet industries, with expertise in high-speed networking and security.

Most recently he served as the Senior Network Security Architect at an Internet ASP that specialized in banking applications. In this role, Jason was responsible for that company's network security, policies, architecture and deployment. Jason has also held senior network and security roles at Sony Electronics, Segasoft, Excite@home, and Fujitsu Network Telecommunications.

Along with John N. Ackley, he founded the largest ISP in South Florida, Icanect. In that role, Jason held responsibility for the creation of security strategies and network infrastructure.

He is a regular contributor to open-source development projects. He contributed to the development of VIP FreeNet, the first free internet service for the Virgin Islands.
